SOUTH PASADENA: Assistant Teacher (two positions).
James' Parish Day School is a ministry of St. James' Episcopal Church. The school serves children from nursery through Kindergarten. We believe in a developmental approach to pre-school. Duties and responsibilities include assisting the classroom teacher with a variety of tasks: preparing instructional materials; supervising children, both inside and outside of the classroom. A kind disposition is essential. Work hours are M-F, 8:45 am-12:15 pm. The candidate must have earned at least 6 ECE units, and preferable AA/BA degree in early childhood education. The candidate must be open to learn NAEYC guidelines, have a great work ethic, demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity, and be committed to the idea of personal and professional growth. The eligible candidate must have DOJ Clearance and a TB Test. We are an NAEYC Accredited Preschool.
